Confirmation is the process our sixth graders go through to learn more about the United Methodist Church and what it means to be a United Methodist Christian.  The class meets during the Sunday school hour and runs the entire school year.  Retreats, special outings, mission projects, and speakers are included in this experience.  Each student also has an adult mentor to walk with them and guide them through the confirmation journey. At the end of the school year, confirmands have the opportunity to join the church in a special worship service.

At their confirmation, students confirm for themselves the promises made at their baptism – to grow in the church and the knowledge of God, to be part of a community of believers, and to be loyal to the Church and to Christ throughout their lives.
